Luxueux Lexus
 |
Lexus is the youngest
surviving son of Tellecat’s Volvo, a Chartreux famous for his
sturdy physique and copper eyes. Lexus’ mother is Fantasia.
He is a CFA Champion. Though he is a gorgeous boy, he will not be
shown again, as he fractured his tail, which grew back perfectly straight,
but with a fused joint. This invisible but palpable tail fault is
now a disqualification in the show ring. Lexus is friendly and loving
and my second largest male. |
Luxueux Luron “Lover”
 |
Luron will
always be known to me as “Lover.” He was the pick of the
litter whose sire was Ami’s Elfin Bleu of Luxueux and whose
dam was Bleumime Fantasia of Luxueux. He was a full brother to Luxueux
Gabriel, who was my “firstborn son.” Luron spent his first
five years in California with another Chartreux breeder, and I was
fortunate to have him returned to me. He is a CFA Champion, and I
hope to show him myself sometime. He is just the most loving trusting
cat anyone could ever have. How I wish that I had kept him with me
continuously after he was born. He is a littermate brother of Lyrica. |
 |
Simba is my
youngest male and the youngest offspring of my first Chartreux, Ami’s
Elfin Bleu. His dam is Rejane des Lilas Bleus, who was born in France.
Simba is just now coming into his adulthood, beginning to develop
stud jowls, and is very interested in breeding. He is perhaps the
most intelligent cat I have. When he fully matures he definitely will
be my largest cat, perhaps because of the hybrid vigor produced by
breeding my pure American lines with the pure French lines. |
 |
Rejane was
bred by Mr. Gérard Jacquemin in Cormeilles-en-Parises in France.
I fell in love with her mother, Milva des Lilas Bleus, who was exhibited
at the cat show in Paris, which my mother, several other American
Chartreux breeders, and I went to in 1997. Rejane is a big girl, and
has large kittens with a European look, just like Rejane herself.
Rejane is a very quiet, sweet, gentle devoted girl.

Luxueux Sierra Brooke
 |
Sierra Brooke is the daughter
of a very special breeding of Luxueux Nadia and Capitalcat’s
Jack Frost. LeAnn Harner of Capitalcats, in North Dakota, no longer
raises Chartreux, but continues to be a judge in the American Cat
Fanciers’ Association (ACFA.) Sierra inherited her father’s
pale eye color, but otherwise she would be show quality. She has a
hard-muscled barrel-chested body and very large eyes. She is an excellent
breeding female—a very solicitous mother. |
Luxueux Tobianna
 |
Tobianna is a stunning
young lady and an excellent mother. Though a daughter of Sierra Brooke,
Tobianna has deep coppery eyes. She loves to follow me around, as
do so many of the other Chartreux. She does purr, but never speaks,
unless she is in heat. My heart just melts each time she looks at
me with those eyes. I hope to be showing her soon. She is the mother
of Luxueux Ultresse of Janvier. |
Luxueux Ultresse of Janvier
Ultresse is a spectacular female, a daughter of Tobianna. Mary Ann and
Donald Sweeters of Janvier cattery in Shreveport, Louisiana co-own Ultresse
with me and show her in CFA. She earned her Grand Championship in only
three shows.
Luxueux Iridessa
 |
Iridessa is a CFA Champion,
though she has rarely been shown. She was a devoted mother to her
kittens. As a little kitten herself, she really had the look of a
lioness. She is now spayed, and, even as an older cat, she continues
to be gentle, quiet and healthy. |
 |
Mew de Bleus
has traveled to Texas, Louisiana, and California siring lovely kittens.
His own sire, Vanya, was a beautiful male who carried the recessive
longhair gene. Unfortunately, Mew de Bleus inherited this gene, and,
although he himself is a shorthaired cat, he has produced longhaired
kittens with females from other catteries. He is a CFA Champion. Since
he carries the long hair gene, he was neutered to become a pet. Perhaps
eventually he will be shown in the Premiership division for altered
cats.

Ulianna,
a young spay , is the favorite of Dalia because of her playful attitude.
She would make a great companion to anyone who likes to laugh. Thank
you to Matt and Dalia Hibbs, who created this website. |
